On 1 January 2022, Accura opened its doors to a world-leading Renewable Energy Team ready to provide complex legal advice on our clients’ renewable energy projects anywhere in the world.
Now the team is strengthened even further as the two UK lawyers Matthew Mulqueen and Paul Thomas Scott from the London office of Squire Patton Boggs are joining the team.
Partner Matthew Mulqueen has nearly 20 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector globally and is acknowledged in the Legal 500 as a “Leading Individual” within the infrastructure and energy sector. Matthew has a depth of experience of the fixed and floating offshore wind sector and other renewable energy technologies including hydrogen, geothermal, large- and small-scale hydro and solar transactions.
Paul Scott joins the team as senior associate. Having worked together for a number of years, Matthew and Paul have vast experience of energy projects in multiple jurisdictions including the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Matthew and Paul will focus on the growth of Accura’s operations assisting our culients within renewable energy in the USA. They will be located in Accura’s New York office.
