On 1 January 2022, Accura welcomed the most specialised Renewable Energy team in the legal industry. The global leading team of 3 partners and more than 30 experts advising from offices across Denmark, USA and Asia is focused exclusively on renewable energy.
The development and commercialisation of renewable energy projects is extremely complex and international in nature and the legal counselling involved is very difficult to master.
Advising on renewable energy projects requires a very specialised legal knowledge, deep insights into the market and a substantial commercial understanding of each project. Also, renewable energy projects are international in scope and a local presence is often necessary.
On 1 January 2022, Accura opened its doors to a new Renewable Energy team ready to provide complex legal advice to our clients’ renewable energy projects anywhere in the world.
The practice is spearheaded by the partners Peter Østergaard Nielsen, Jakob Østervang and Anders Hørlyck Jensen who are all recognised as leaders in their field. The rest of the team consists of more than 30 experts working from Accura’s offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Singapore, and eventually also New York and Tokyo.
The team is very experienced in providing advice throughout the whole cycle of a renewable energy project from early-stage development to execution and divestment and it has managed to build up a quite unique position as trusted advisors to several leading, global players in the market.
We are looking very much forward to introducing our clients to the team. We expect great things from this new practice area as we embark on a journey with renewable energy that has only just begun.
