Snowminds founders sell majority stake to Swedish Röko

The founders of Snowminds Group ApS (“Snowminds”), one of the world’s leading providers of ski and snowboard instructor training camps, has sold its 60% majority stake to the Swedish investment company Röko.

The friends Christoffer Vorre and Ottar í Hjøllum formed Snowminds in 2012. Since then, Snowminds has helped more than 5,000 people from more than 30 countries become certified ski and snowboard instructors. Today, the business has sales activities in five European countries and generated approx. DKK 60m in the latest financial year. The two founders will continue as chief executive officers in the new set-up with Röko as the majority owner.

Röko is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and primarily invests in profitable small- and medium-sized businesses with strong market positions in their respective niche markets. Snowminds is Rökos sixth investment in Denmark.
