The Danish energy and telecommunications group Norlys has acquired 60% of the Danish IT company Automize.
Automize was founded in 2015 and is an expert in the digitalisation, optimisation and automation of companies’ business procedures. Automize’s expertise within cloud solutions will give Norlys both faster and more secure IT operations. Norlys is in the middle of a major IT transformation in which the cloud journey must be accelerated.
The current 40 employees of Automize will continue with the company, and in order to bring together the IT skills, a number of employees from Norlys’s IT department will be moving to Automize in the coming year, just as the company will continue its focus on existing and future customers.
Norlys is Denmark’s largest energy and telecommunications group. The company has more than 3,000 employees and 1.7 million customer relations.
Norlys’s acquisition of Automize is a continuation of the investment in Mjølner Informatics earlier this year.
