Nordic Drives Group acquires Midtjydsk Elektro

Nordic Drives Group has acquired the Danish electromechanical business Midtjydsk Elektro.

Midtjydsk Elektro’s core areas are cranes, electric motors, gears, pumps and other traditional electromechanical work. The business was formed in 1924 and is headquartered in Herning, Denmark.

Nordic Drives Group was founded in 2022 with the aim of becoming the market leader in Northern Europe within drives and electric motors.  Nordic Drives Group is owned by the Swedish private equity fund MVI.

Accura advised MVI in connection with the transaction. Accura also advised MVI in connection with the acquisition of Fabrika.
