JP/Politikens Hus has bought an ownership interest of 70% in a large Norwegian publishing group consisting of the two Norwegian non-fiction publishers Kagge Forlag and J.M. Stenersens Forlag.
The two Norwegian publishers are responsible for a range of bestseller publications and publish biographies, non-fiction, lifestyle books, children’s books and stand-alone fiction titles.
Kagge Forlag and J.M. Stenersens Forlag continue as independent publishers under JP/Politikens Hus.
With the acquisition, JP/Politikens Hus creates a Scandinavian publishing group with independent publishers in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
