Danpal is a leading nationwide supplier of wood pallets and an expert in manufacturing speciality pallets and recycling Euro pallets with several leading Danish businesses as customers. Through the acquisition, Vestjysk Træemballage strengthens its ambition of becoming a leading Nordic player within wood packaging.

Since then, the business has developed forcefully, both financially and socially.

The fund came from Den Sociale Kapitalfond, which has collaborated with far more than 100 socially responsible businesses concerning investments and business development since 2011. Vestjysk Træemballage is owned by CEO Carsten Lund and Kurt Fiskbæk and the Nordic investment company Daimyo focusing on sustainable businesses.
