Background

Ivan is a veteran and pioneer in advising clients on renewable energy projects in Asia-Pacific.

He has guided clients on the development and construction of renewables energy projects for onshore/offshore wind, utility scale/C&I solar photovoltaic and PPAs as well as advising on transaction structures, M&As and joint ventures.

He was in-house counsel at Vestas Wind Systems during the emergence of wind power development in Asia Pacific.

Clients appreciate his grasp of complex commercial, legal and technical issues in renewables project. Having represented both developers and contractors, he provides unique perspectives which have proven invaluable to clients and counterparties alike in finding practical and bankable legal solutions during challenging situations.

Ivan is particularly experienced in TSAs, SAAs and both T&I and BoP contracts.

He is dual-qualified in Singapore and England and is ranked in Chambers & Partners for “Projects & Infrastructure: International – Singapore" and “Asia-Pacific Vietnam Projects, Infrastructure & Energy”.
