The Swedish savings and lending platform Lendify has been acquired by the Danish Lunar Group.
Lendify is known for its innovative peer-to-peer lending platform making it possible to offer loans between private individuals.
Moreover, Lendify provides its customers with an online savings platform and other lending and credit services. The company has 40,000 customers and a total loan book of DKK 2.2bn.
Lunar is an online bank with 250,000 customers in the Nordic countries, of which 120,000 customers are located in Denmark. The acquisition of Lendify will be used, for example, to accelerate Lunar’s growth in the Nordic countries.
