Standard Investment acquires Danish children’s clothing company

The Dutch private equity fund Standard Investment has acquired the majority stake in the Danish children’s clothing company Brands4kids.

Brands4Kids sells quality clothing for children aged 0-14 years and owns the 7 children’s clothing brands CeLaVi, Creamie, Minymo, Color Kids, Pippi Børnetøj, En Fant and Fixoni.

Brands4Kids is headquartered in Ikast, Denmark, and has a department in China. The company has more than 2,000 customers in over 20 countries.

Standard Investment typically invests in medium-sized businesses and has offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen and Stockholm. Following the acquisition of Brands4kids, Standard Investment currently has 18 businesses in its portfolio with a total revenue of EUR 1bn and more than 3,700 employees. In 2021, Accura assisted the private equity fund in connection with the acquisition of the Danish plastic business Plast1.
