The Danish podcast platform Podimo has acquired Dag en Nacht Media, the largest producer and publisher of podcasts in the Netherlands. The acquisition is Podimo’s largest to date.
Dag en Nacht Media was formed in 2016 by journalists Anne Janssens and Tim de Gier. Today, the company publishes more than 60 podcasts with more than 8 million monthly streams in total.
Podimo was launched in 2019 and offers a subscription-based podcast platform, providing users with access to exclusive podcasts. Podimo is available in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Spain and across Latin America.
Podimo’s app will be available in the Netherlands in the course of April 2022.
