The Swedish, listed construction and civil engineering group PEAB has acquired the Finnish, listed group YIT’s Nordic paving and mineral aggregates business for SEK 3bn (approx. DKK 2.13bn).
Accura assisted PEAB in the transfer of YIT’s Danish paving business which comprises seven asphalt plants and six offices throughout the country. YIT’s Danish business employs approx. 300 people.
The transaction is conditional on the usual public authority approvals. Closing is expected to occur on 1 January 2020.
Accura advised PEAB in connection with the Danish part of the transaction.
