Orkla acquires VitaePro and Oslo Skin Lab in billion-kroner transaction

Stock exchange-listed Orkla has acquired the company NutraQ 2 AS (“NutraQ”) through Orkla Health at a price of approx. DKK 2.25bn. The sellers are the investment company Impilo and Sana Pharma Holding.

NutraQ is the company behind the two well-known brands VitaePro and Oslo Skin Lab. The company also owns the two health brands Maxulin and Provexin and the food supplement brand Vesterålens Naturprodukter.

NutraQ was formed in 2002 and has established operations in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. The company has more than 410,000 active subscriptions.

Orkla Health is one of the leading Scandinavian suppliers of health products within vitamin and mineral supplements, omega-3 and sports nutrition.

The transaction is subsequently approved by the relevant competition authorities and completed June 15, 2021.
