The financial advisory house NORTH has made its first international expansion with the acquisition of the financial consultancy firm Bankbrokers’ businesses in Denmark, Sweden and Norway to cover customers’ need for financial agreements across borders even more.
Bankbrokers provides advice for businesses who want better financial solutions and who want to reduce bank service costs, optimise their payment solutions or receive advice on debt financing.
Bankbrokers was formed in Stockholm in 2008 and has since build a strong, international business, headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Bankbrokers is present in eight countries and is now selling its businesses in Norway, Sweden and Denmark to NORTH. The remaining part of Bankbrokers will continue under the existing brand.
NORTH is Denmark’s leading independent financial advisory house within business insurance, company pension, financial products and mortgage credit. NORTH is majority-owned by the private equity fund Polaris and was formed in 2021 in connection with the merger of four advisory businesses. Since its formation, NORTH has acquired approx. 20 businesses and has approx. 250 employees today.
