Lautrup Chemicals Group sold to international market leader

The Danish companies Lautrup Chemicals A/S and Lautrup Chemicals Scandinavia A/S (collectively Lautrup Chemicals) have been sold to Distrupol.

Lautrup Chemicals was founded in 1982 by the company’s existing CEO Hans Lautrup. The company is headquartered in Bredgade in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is one of Scandinavia’s leading distributors of polymers. Through an independent logistics and transport set-up, Lautrup Chemicals has been in charge of efficient product delivery to several customers and business partners in Scandinavia and Eastern and Southern Europe etc.

Distrupol is part of the group GPD Companies, Inc., which is Europe’s leading group within thermoplastics, polymers and elastomers. GPD is ultimately owned by the private equity fund One Rock Capital Partners. The group delivers products to more than 1,300 customers across 13 countries.
