Friday 17 April 2026, KK Group Invest A/S (“KK Group”) entered into an agreement for the acquisition of PowerCon A/S (“PowerCon”), an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in electrical power conversion solutions.

PowerCon was founded 17 years ago in Hobro by Kim B. Larsen, Allan H. Jørgensen and Peter C. Knudsen (all of whom have several years of experience from the wind turbine industry) with one clear vision: To design and manufacture much more innovate power conversion solutions. The founders quickly saw the potential in shore power, and with its strong focus on flexibility for all project aspects, PowerCon quickly became a leading supplier in the industry. Today, PowerCon is widely recognized as an industry front runner, supplying its modular and scalable shore power solutions to ports around the world.

With decades of expertise in power, controls, cooling, and monitoring, KK Group enables renewables to electrify societies and drive industrial efficiency.
