The listed American engineering and consulting group Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has concluded an agreement on the acquisition of the controlling interest in the consulting firm PA Consulting. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. acquires 65% of the shares in PA Consulting from the existing shareholder The Carlyle Group.
The transaction places the enterprise value of PA Consulting at approx. EUR 2bn.
PA Consulting is a global consulting firm that employs more than 3,200 consultants, approx. 200 of which are located in Denmark. The firm provides support within a number of areas, including life science, transport, energy, security, manufacturing and financial services.
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is a world-leading engineering and consulting group within consultancy services concerning mobility and infrastructure, transport, environment and renewable energy, etc. The company has 55,000 employees and an annual revenue of more than EUR 11bn.
