Gubi sold to Axcel and the Augustinus Foundation

The Danish design company Gubi has been sold to Axcel and the Augustinus Foundation.

Gubi designs and manufactures exclusive design furniture. 80% of the revenue results from export, and the products are primarily sold on the Northern European market. In particular, the new owners focus on increasing sales on the Asian markets and in the US.

Axcel acquires the majority of the shares in Gubi together with Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, a subsidiary of the Augustinus Foundation. Axcel takes over 36% of the shares, while Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker will take over 24% of the shares as a passive investor.

Accura advised Jacob G. Olsen and his holding company Designselskabet in connection with the sale.
