European Energy A/S has concluded an agreement on the sale of the solar park Solar Park Hanstholmvej, located in Thisted, to the German investment company LHI Group.
The total capacity of the solar park is approx. 50 MW and it is the first solar park in Denmark with bi-facial modules. The panels absorb sunlight from both sides of the panel thereby increasing the productivity of the solar park. Accordingly, the solar park generates more green power in the same area compared to a traditional solar park.
A corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA) has been concluded with a large international business, which ensures green electricity at a competitive fixed price for the customer.
European Energy A/S has been responsible for the construction project and will remain responsible for the operation and management of the project after the transfer.
