Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners acquires Danish early-stage solar PV portfolio

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (“CIP”) has obtained 100% ownership of Soltec Power Holdings’ (“Soltec”) Danish early-stage solar PV portfolio through its Energy Transition Fund I (CI ETF I).

The portfolio consists of projects with a combined potential installed capacity of approx. 850 MWdc. The project sites are scattered across Denmark with the vast majority of the projects located in Jutland.

CI ETF I’s intention is to develop, build and operate these solar PV generation assets, and to add additional projects to the portfolio, to provide part of the required renewable electricity for CI ETF I’s Danish Power-to-X projects.

Soltec is a Spanish listed entity operating within the solar photovoltaic power sector, headquartered in Murcia.

Accura acted as legal advisor to CIP in connection with the transaction, including in relation to securing site control as well as negotiating and preparing the key transaction documents.
