Carl Ras acquires Nordjydsk Værktøjssalg

Carl Ras has acquired the trade and service company Nordjydsk Værktøjssalg expanding its position within the tools and welding industries. The acquisition of Nordjydsk Værktøjssalg will also strengthen Carl Ras’s position in Northern Jutland, Denmark, and increase its geographical presence over time.

Nordjydsk Værktøjssalg was founded in Frederikshavn in 2007 and supplies tools, machines and ancillary products of a high quality for the metal and automobile industries, automotive painters, painters and sand blast operators. The company has customers throughout Denmark and also exports to several European countries.

Carl Ras is a Danish family-owned wholesale business and one of Denmark’s largest providers of tools and mountings for builders, institutions and the industrial sector. Carl Ras was formed in 1932 and, today, has 22 stores with more than 400 employees.

The transaction is a continuation of the acquisitions of 3Aktive and Jydsk Værktøj and Carl Ras’s strategy to bring together a careful selection of specialist companies in the industry.
