Carl Ras takes over Jydsk Værktøj

Carl Ras has acquired the trade and service company Jydsk Værktøj extending its position within the tools and welding industries.

Jydsk Værktøj was formed in 1960 and has one the largest selections of tools, welding machines, workshop machines, personal protective equipment, consumables and workshop design on the market. The company also rents out welding machines and offers a wide range of services within welding equipment, electrical tools and personal fall protection equipment, etc.

Carl Ras is a Danish family-owned wholesale business and one of Denmark’s largest providers of tools and mountings for builders, institutions and the industrial sector. Carl Ras was formed in 1932 and, today, has 22 stores. The company will have approx. 425 employees after the transaction.

The closing of the transaction is expected to be completed at the end of the year.
