British private equity fund enters the Danish market and acquires skincare company

The British private equity fund Bluegem Capital Partners has acquired 70% of the Danish skincare company Ecooking and the company House of Cosmetics who manufactures private label products.

Ecooking was formed seven years ago by Tina Søgaard and sells organic skincare products such as face creams and cleansing products online and in shops in 32 countries. Tina Søgaard continues as co-owner and partner.

Bluegem Capital Partners manages more than EUR 500m and has invested in several other beauty brands. This is Bluegem Capital Partners’ first acquisition in Denmark.
