The Danish electronics company BB Electronics has been sold to the Norwegian electronics manufacturer Kitron for an enterprise value of DKK 600m.
The sellers are the current 12 owners, including CEO Carsten Christensen, chairman of the board of directors Sven Ruder and Bjarne Skovsbøl who was one of the founders of the company in 1975.
BB Electronics is a leading provider of electronics and EMS (electronic manufacturing services). The company employs approx. 750 persons and is headquartered in Horsens and has manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic and China.
BB Electronics continues in its own name and the management continues.
