Balder hands over operation of Hotel Østerport to Go Hotels

Balder Danmark A/S (“Balder”) has signed a lease and transfer agreement with Go Hotels to transfer the operation of Hotel Østerport. Since 2016, Balder has owned and operated the iconic hotel by Østerport station, Copenhagen, but the company now wants to focus on its core competence, property management.

Balder builds, develops and manages properties in the capital region of Denmark and owns six hotel properties, the Circus Building and 22 residential properties with more than 4,000 rental units.

Besides Go Hotel Østerport, which will be the new name of the hotel, Go Hotels operates five other hotels in Greater Copenhagen, offering a total of 749 hotel rooms.

Accura’s hotel team has collaborated with Balder and Nordic Hotel Consulting in connection with the conclusion of the hotel lease and transfer agreement to transfer the operation of Hotel Østerport to Go Hotels.
