Ambea acquires Aleris Omsorg in billion-kroner transaction

The Swedish listed company Ambea has acquired the services business Aleris Omsorg. The value of the acquisition is DKK 1.87bn.

Aleris Omsorg operates private residential care homes, supported housing, homecare services and rehabilitation activities in Denmark, Sweden and Norway and employs more than 6,000 people.

Ambea is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. By acquiring Aleris Omsorg, Ambea will become the largest market player in the Nordic countries and employ more than 20,000 people.

The acquisition is subject to approval from the competition authorities in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
