Accura presents strong financial statements

Accura ends 2021 with a growth rate of 39% and lands a revenue of DKK 725.6m. A clear focus on pursuing the strategy and a high level of activity on the transaction market are the main drivers of Accura’s growth.

2021 has been a good year for Accura. Revenue increased by 39% from DKK 519.9m in 2020 to DKK 725.6m in 2021. Accura’s growth has been driven by high levels of activity on the national and international transaction markets, and Accura has pursued its strategic objectives.

Every single day, we have pursued our focused strategy to be the preferred advisor in the most complex transactions and projects, deploying all our skills. Therefore, we have also broadened and sharpened our skills even more in 2021. Our strategy is based on forming strong teams consisting of a cross-section of our experts and combining strong professional skills with a very clear commercial approach. This means that we provide clear and useful advice to our clients based on their commercial situation. We can see that we are being rewarded for that,” says Thomas Weincke, chairman of Accura’s board of directors.

In 2021, Accura advised numerous private equity funds and large Danish and international businesses on more than 115 M&A and ECM transactions and was part of completing a substantial number of real estate transactions. Today, Accura is the leading provider of advice on transactions, and our expert teams are top-tier ranked within their respective areas of expertise by international legal guides and rating agencies. All our expert teams have increased their revenue in 2021.

Expansion in selected core business areas
Accura will continue to expand in selected core business areas, and one prerequisite for such expansion is to strengthen our employee base.

We continue to take on employees in several of our teams. So far, approx. 50 new employees have joined us in 2022. Skilled employees are essential for us to continue the extraordinary development Accura is undergoing and to maintain our market position. They are also absolutely essential for us to continue to provide insightful, value-adding and strategic advice to the benefit of our clients. So we need to continue to attract, maintain and develop the best talents,” says Thomas Weincke.

Another step on our path of expansion is to continue to develop strong practice areas. At the turn of the year 2021/2022, Accura established a renewable energy team with remarkable skills on a global scale. The team consists of approx. 40 skilled advisors who provide legal services on both the national and international markets. Both the team and the area are strong on a global scale and have the potential to continue to expand.

We are proud to contribute to rolling out renewable energy solutions on international markets. At the same time, we are full of admiration for the Danish players’ significant role in such an important endeavour. Naturally, we are delighted at our own business opportunities within this area, but we are even more delighted for the broad social perspective and potential of it,” says Thomas Weincke.

Accura has increased its employee base from approx. 275 at the end of 2020 to 350 at the turn of the year 2021/2022. Approx. 50 new employees have joined Accura in the first quarter of 2022, taking Accura’s head count to more than 400 employees.
