Accura moves to new office building in 2022

Accura builds offices at Trælastholmen in the Nordhavn district.

In 2022 Accura will have its address in one of the most attractive districts in Copenhagen when the law firm moves into a modern and innovative building at Trælastholmen in the Nordhavn district.

This year, Accura is celebrating its 20-year anniversary. Since Accura was formed in 1999, the firm has undergone substantial development and consolidated its status as a noticeable key player with a strong market position among the Danish law firms.

Since 2006, Accura has had its address at Tuborg Boulevard 1 close to Tuborg Harbour, where more than 200 employees are based today.

With a positive outlook and an expectation of expanding and strengthening the firm further in the years ahead, the firm is about to outgrow its current premises. Accura has therefore worked to find the perfect location for a new, distinctive and modern office building.

The choice fell on Trælastholmen in the Nordhavn district where Accura has entered into an agreement with CPH City & Port Development (By & Havn) to acquire one of the most attractive commercial property sites in the much sought-after area. Accura will build modern and innovative offices surrounded by waterways, the metro and urban squares.

Our ambition is to create an office building that matches our focused strategy, DNA and ambitions in terms of size, expression and location. At the same time, it must provide the perfect setting for a visionary consultancy business assisting Danish and international clients. We believe to have found this at Trælastholmen, where the building will also contribute to the atmosphere of the area,” says Ivan Madsen, partner and COO of Accura.

A modern workplace in the future power centre of Copenhagen
The building designed by Danielsen Architecture will comprise approx. 10,000 mon 5 floors. The choice of materials is inspired by the classic, modernist commercial buildings built in Copenhagen for almost 100 years ago.

Accura has given particular weight to the area and the location, and the infrastructure with the neighbouring metro station “Orientkaj” will make it easy for employees and clients to go to and from the new office building.

During the construction phase, there will be a sharp focus on involving the local area in the form of e.g. the surrounding waterways and on developing creative, green and sustainable solutions. It will be a pivotal element in the design that the facades and edge zones of the building contribute to the urban life of the area. A shop area comprising 200 m2 will be placed on the ground floor and blend in with the metro square.

With our new surroundings, we will create a modern and functional setting for our clients as well as our employees. The Nordhavn district is an exciting and innovative district which we believe will become the power centre of the future. We look forward to becoming an active part of that,” says Ivan Madsen.
