15 new appointments in Accura

We have been looking forward to announcing that Accura has appointed four new partners, three new associate partners and eight new directors as at 1 July 2023.

FOUR NEW PARTNERS

Jannie Schibler
Jannie is part of Accura’s Banking & Finance Team and advises banks and other financial institutions, private equity funds and privately held and listed businesses on banking and finance law. Jannie has vast experience of complex financing transactions, including acquisition finance, financing of operations, fund financing and restructurings.

Jannie was admitted to the Danish bar in 2008 and joined Accura in 2021.

Jesper Philip
Jesper is part of Accura’s Renewable Energy Team. He assists on all types of renewable energy projects with commercial and legal issues in relation to contract negotiation and bankability. In respect of offshore wind, Jesper assists both developers and suppliers globally with the negotiation and execution of projects. Jesper also assists clients with the development of renewable energy projects, including with all aspects of the initial decision-making stages, through construction, claims management and operation.

Jesper was admitted to the Danish bar in 2016 and joined Accura in 2022.

Lærke Louise Nielsen
Lærke is part of Accura’s IT & Outsourcing Team. She advises domestic and multinational groups on outsourcing, IT acquisitions and other complex and rights-based agreements. Moreover, she specialises in technology law and has extensive experience of IT and telecommunications and technology-driven contracts and thorough knowledge of data protection and life science. Lærke has experience as a corporate counsel in a large international business, and she adopts an extensive commercial approach in advising her clients.

Lærke became a legal advisor in 2012 and has been at Accura from 2009 to 2015 and came back to Accura in 2017.

Tejs Degn Leth Ernst
Tejs is part of Accura’s Renewable Energy Team and has headed legal teams in connection with many investments and transactions worldwide involving renewable energy projects in the pre-development stage and early development stage, including several projects based on cutting-edge technology such as green hydrogen, e-methanol, green ammonia and other Power-to-X-related projects.

Tejs assists in drafting, negotiating and executing core transaction documents, processes and project management, including cross-border M&A projects and due diligence investigations.

Tejs was admitted to the Danish bar in 2014 and joined Accura in 2022.

THREE NEW ASSOCIATE PARTNERS

Christopher Oldenburg
Christopher is part of Accura’s Direct & Indirect Tax Team and provides advice on direct and indirect tax law. He focuses primarily on the tax and VAT treatment of real estate transactions and has advised a wide range of Danish and international clients on matters concerning direct and indirect taxation, including VAT and energy taxes. Christopher also has vast experience of disputes concerning direct and indirect taxes.

Christopher was admitted to the Danish bar in 2013 and joined Accura in 2020.

Philip Hundahl
Philip is part of Accura’s Banking & Finance Team and advises Danish and international privately held and listed businesses, private equity funds, banks and other financial institutions on banking and finance law. He has great experience of complex domestic and international cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, project and asset financing, fund financing and restructurings.

Philip was admitted to the Danish bar in 2018 and joined Accura in 2022.

Sebastian Roed
Sebastian is part of Accura’s Banking & Finance Team. He focuses primarily on real estate financing, acquisition finance and bond issues. Sebastian typically advises domestic and international private equity funds, privately held and listed businesses and banks, pension funds and other financial institutions.

Sebastian was admitted to the Danish bar in 2015 and joined Accura in 2017.

EIGHT NEW DIRECTORS

Adam Tao Michaëlis
Adam is part of Accura’s Dispute Team. Adam is engaged in court and arbitral proceedings and has extensive experience of conducting litigation within commercial liability and damages, including in particular litigation in respect of advisors’ liability and construction contracts.

Adam was admitted to the Danish bar in 2019 and joined Accura in 2022

Amanda Lundby Langer
Amanda is part of Accura’s EU & Competition Team. She advises domestic and international businesses on all aspects of competition law from general competition law compliance and governance to transaction-related matters, including merger control and clean-team initiatives. Amanda also has experience of criminal proceedings involving competition law, for example in connection with matters relating to the abuse of a dominant position.

Amanda joined Accura in 2020 and was admitted to the Danish bar in 2021.

Armin Sarvan
Armin is part of Accura’s IP & Life Science Team. He advises on all aspects of intellectual property rights, with particular experience within patent litigation. Armin also assists on transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating critical technology-related agreements, with a particular focus on the needs of clients within life sciences, tech and renewables. Armin also regularly deals with matters relating to pharmaceutical law and other aspects of life science regulatory law.

Armin was admitted to the Danish bar in 2020 and joined Accura in 2023.

Arwa Awad
Arwa is part of Accura’s Renewable Energy Team and assists on a wide array of renewable energy projects on both the project side and the M&A side. This includes the drafting of Power-to-X commercial agreements and the translation of such agreements into succinct, adequate overviews for client engagement with key stakeholders.

Arwa has acted in various legal roles in the energy industry in Texas, Qatar, France and Denmark where she provided front-line legal advice and project management on international M&A transactions and drafted and negotiated procurement contracts for various international energy-related activities.

Arwa was admitted to the US bar in 2010 and joined Accura in 2022.

Evelyn Peter
Evelyn is part of Accura’s Renewable Energy Team. She is a senior corporate attorney focusing on M&A transactions and investments in the renewable energy industry. Evelyn has experience of working on cross-border deals involving renewable energy projects in the pre-to-early development stage, including Power-to-X-related projects, and the sale and purchase of established assets. Evelyn advises clients on all stages of the M&A process, including due diligence, the negotiation of core transaction documents, project management and completion of transactions.

Evelyn was admitted to the Australian bar in 2013 and joined Accura in 2022.

Jakob Henning Anker Göte
Jakob is part of Accura’s M&A Team. He provides advice to domestic and international investors in connection with the sale and acquisition of private and listed businesses, in particular in connection with the drafting of transaction documents, legal due diligence, prospectuses, disclosure obligations, general meetings and advice to businesses in general.

Jakob joined Accura in 2017 and was admitted to the Danish bar in 2020.

Momo Zhou Eskildsen

Momo is part of Accura’s Renewable Energy Team and is most often assigned to concrete project organisations in close collaboration and involvement with the client’s total advisory team. She uses her detailed knowledge from her experience as a legal project advisor on several large-scale offshore wind projects, primarily in Asia where she has been posted for a number of years. Momo has special experience of the development phases towards financial maturity and the final establishment decisions. She is particularly well-founded in providing advice on and coordinating complex tenders as well as procurement and contract processes for large supplier and contractor agreements.

Momo was admitted to the Danish bar in 2016 and joined Accura in 2022.

Rikke Sonne

Rikke is part of Accura’s EU & Competition Team. She advises domestic and international businesses on foreign direct investments (FDI) in Denmark under the Danish Investment Screening Act. Rikke also works with competition law matters and regulatory due diligence in connection with M&A transactions.

Moreover, she has extensive experience of handling commercial contracts and of providing general legal advice from her previous position as head of legal in one of the largest media groups in Scandinavia.

Rikke was admitted to the Danish bar in 2009 and joined Accura in 2021.
