Worldwide Flight Services bought for USD 2.1bn

The Singapore-based catering and gateway services provider SATS has bought Worldwide Flight Services from the US private equity firm Cerberus Capital for USD 2.1bn.

Worldwide Flight Services is the world’s largest air cargo handler with operations in 160 airports in 20 different countries. Worldwide Flight Services also provides ground handling services and technical support to airlines.

In cooperation with the international law firm Latham & Watkins, Accura has assisted SATS in respect of the Danish part of the transaction. Denmark is one of Worldwide Flight Services’ key markets.
