EIFO was formed in the summer of 2022 by law as an independent public company owned by the Danish state.
At 1 April 2023, the activities of Vaekstfonden and EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency were merged and will be continued in EIFO in future.
This means that the activities of the three state funds Vaekstfonden, EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency and the Danish Green Investment Fund have been combined in EIFO, acting as one strong financing and investment fund backed by the Danish state and regulated by law.
