TetraSpar Demonstrator ApS signs a decommissioning agreement for their Demonstrator Project

TetraSpar Demonstrator ApS has recently signed a decommissioning agreement for its floating demonstrator.

The TetraSpar foundation was among the world’s first industrialised floating offshore wind structures. The demonstrator is equipped with a 3.6 MW turbine, was assembled at the Port of Grenaa and has been operating since 2021 at a test site off the Norwegian coast in water depths of 200 metres.

Accura acted as lead project counsel throughout the full project lifecycle. Accura’s work included legal support in connection with the installation and commissioning of the demonstrator, contract negotiations, finalisation of project agreements and, most recently, advice in relation to the decommissioning phase.

Accura advised TetraSpar Demonstrator ApS in connection with the decommissioning and the overall project execution.
