The TetraSpar Demonstrator Project has recently signed a decommissioning agreement for its floating demonstrator.
The TetraSpar foundation was among the world’s first industrialized floating offshore wind structures. The demonstrator is equipped with a 3.6 MW turbine, was assembled at the Port of Grenaa, and has been operating since 2021 at a test site off the Norwegian coast in a water depth of 200 meters.
Accura acted as lead project counsel throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. Accura’s work included legal support in connection with the installation and commissioning of the demonstrator, contract negotiations, finalization of project agreements and, most recently, advice in relation to the decommissioning phase.
Accura advised the TetraSpar Demonstrator Project in connection with the decommissioning and the overall project execution.
