Semler Gruppen is expanding its activities in the engineering industry, entering the construction industry with the acquisition of H.P. Entreprenørmaskiner.
H.P. Entreprenørmaskiner has more than 40 years of experience with the sale of all types and sizes of construction machinery. Today, the company has approx. 60 employees working in Bjæverskov and Horsens, Denmark, and Nuuk, Greenland. With the acquisition of H.P. Entreprenørmaskiner, Semler Gruppen wishes to diversify its portfolio and enter the attractive market for the sale of construction machinery. Semler Gruppen will take over, among other things, the import and sole distribution of Hitachi in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Hitachi is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machinery and equipment for contractors.
Semler Gruppen is Denmark’s largest supplier of cars, importing and selling cars, such as Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen. In 2015, Semler Gruppen also entered the market for agricultural machinery with Semler Agro.
