Saxo.com sold to JP/Politikens Hus

Saxo.com, Denmark’s largest online bookshop, is taken over by JP/Politikens Hus which has owned 30% of the company since 2009.

Promoter and CEO Jørgen Balle Olesen and co-owner Kim Holmgaard sell their respective shares of 63% and 7% of Saxo.com.

Saxo.com employs 50 people serving half a million active customers and has a revenue of DKK 300m.

Saxo.com values the transaction, which is subject to competition authority approval, at approx. DKK 190m.
