The Danish online bookstore Saxo.com has acquired the book streaming service Chapter from the publishing house Gyldendal.
Chapter is an audiobook and e-book app, offering more than 100,000 titles from Denmark’s large publishing houses. Chapter was founded in 2020 and has become a significant player in the Danish streaming market in just a few years.
Saxo.com is Denmark’s largest online bookstore and the owner of the streaming service Saxo Premium. Saxo.com is owned by JP/Politikens Hus.
With the acquisition of Chapter, Saxo consolidates its strong position in the Danish book streaming market.
