The Danish company Podimo has just completed an investment round and has received new capital of DKK 225 million. In the investment round, the participating venture funds were Highland Europe and HighlandX. Highland Europe already owns 10-15% of Podimo, but HighlandX, which is part of the American venture fund Highland Capital Partner, is a new investor. Podimo was formed in 2019 and has since managed to raise capital of more than DKK 1.3 billion.
Podimo’s subscription solution gives access to an extensive catalogue of original and exclusive, advert-free podcasts and audiobooks. Today, Podimo has 220 employees in 20 different countries.
Accura advised Podimo in connection with the transaction and has advised podimo since its formation, including in connection with all previous investment rounds.
