Randers FC sold to Suzuyo

Randers FC Holding, the owner of Danish Superliga club Randers FC, has sold 80% of its shares to the major Japanese logistics and shipping company Suzuyo, giving Suzuyo a controlling interest in the club.

Suzuyo’s investment in Randers FC is based on a long term perspective, and the company has committed to making a significant capital injection into Randers FC, which will substantially increase the club’s player budget.

Founded in 1801, Suzuyo has developed into an international business with activities particularly within logistics and transportation and employs 13,600 people worldwide. Suzuyo already owns the football club Shimizu S-Pulse, which plays in Japan’s top football division, the J.League.
