Qualitas Energy acquires 376 MWp operational solar portfolio in Poland

Qualitas Energy has acquired a portfolio of nine operational solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in Poland. The acquisition is Qualitas Energy’s first investment under its latest flagship fund, Qualitas Energy VI, launched in late 2025 and currently in the process of fundraising.

The portfolio comprises an installed capacity of 376 MWp across geographically diversified sites in Poland. It was acquired from a joint venture between Better Energy Holding A/S and Industriens Pension. The assets were developed and constructed by Better Energy A/S and reached commercial operation between 2021 and 2024.

The portfolio generates more than 400 GWh of clean energy annually and benefits from a diversified revenue framework that combines long-term Contracts for Difference (CfDs) in Poland with power purchase agreements (PPAs) concluded with industrial and investment-grade offtakers. In the coming months, Qualitas Energy plans to hybridise the assets with battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Qualitas Energy is a leading global investment and management platform with a dual focus on both funding and developing renewable energy, energy transition and sustainable infrastructure.
