A new sustainable private equity fund with several prominent finance profiles in the management sees the light of day.
The newly formed private equity fund will focus on sustainable investments with renewable energy, energy optimisation and resource efficiency on the agenda.
With DKK 5bn in the bag, the new fund will chase investments with noticeable and measurable societal returns in Denmark without reducing the return on the investment.
Per Frederiksen has a past in the investment company Nuveen, a subsidiary of a pension fund, and the global asset manager Blackrock. He will lead the fund together with Carsten Grøhn who led the unlisted assets division of PenSam, a Danish labour market pension fundPer Frederiksen will be managing director and chief executive officer, while Carsten Grøhn will be managing director and investment director.
