The private equity fund Polaris has sold its majority shareholding in the disaster recovery company SSG Group to the world’s leading provider of disaster recovery services BELFOR.
SSG Group is a market leader within disaster recovery services and industry and property services in the Nordics. The company is an expert in maintaining building assets, in preventing and minimising damage and in salvaging valuables.
SSG Group was formed in Denmark in 1993 and, today, the company has close to 1,000 employees in 57 locations in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Polaris is a Nordic private equity fund headquartered in Copenhagen. Polaris owns 17 businesses with a total revenue of a little more than DKK 6bn and approx. 5,000 employees.
