Polaris acquires Globeteam and plans merger with 7N

The private equity fund Polaris has acquired the consultancy company Globeteam with the intention of merging the company with 7N, which Polaris acquired in 2024, creating a strong new player in the industry. Polaris acquires Globeteam from Norvestor and Kirk Kapital.

Globeteam was formed in 2001 and is headquartered in Virum, Denmark. The company helps their clients solve complex challenges through strategic consulting and tailored technology solutions and offers to be part of the client’s entire digitalisation journey from consulting and development to implementation and operation. Globeteam has a strong presence in both the public and private sectors across industries such as finance, utilities, life sciences and logistics.

The merger will combine the strengths of two companies and enable them to handle larger and more complex tasks in both the private and public sectors. Combined, the two companies would have had pro forma revenue of DKK 2bn in 2024.

Polaris invests in well-established medium-sized companies in the Nordic countries and has, to date, invested in more than 50 companies and made more than 100 add-on investments in portfolio companies. Polaris owns 17 companies with total revenue of approximately DKK 10bn and more than 5,000 employees.

The transaction is subject to approvals from the relevant public authorities.
