The private equity fund Polaris has acquired the Danish damage control group SSG Group (“SSG”) from BWB Partners.
SSG was formed in 1993 and, since then, has become a leading provider in the Nordic countries of cleaning services after e.g. fires, severe weather events and flooding. Today, the business has 900 employees and more than 50 centres in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
SSG expects a revenue of about DKK 900m in the financial year 2018/19.
The transaction is conditional on the usual public authority approvals.
