The Danish company Podimo has raised EUR 58m in a new funding round. Current investors in Podimo, 83North, Highland Europe and Saban Ventures, Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, Heartcore and Headline, have all participated in this funding round.
Podimo provides a subscription-based service offering podcasts and audiobooks, and the service is available in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Finland, Spain, the Netherlands and across Latin America. The company was founded in 2019 and today has 225 employees.
This new funding allows Podimo to continue its expansion and focus on growing its existing markets, opening new ones and building on its extensive catalogue of content.
Accura advised Podimo in connection with the transaction and has been advising Podimo since its incorporation in connection with previous funding rounds etc.
