The private equity firm PAI Partners and PepsiCo have entered into an agreement on the transfer of a significant part of PepsiCo’s juice business. The value of the agreement is USD 3.3bn.
At the same time, a joint venture is established holding the rights to sell Tropicana, Naked and other select juice brands. PAI Partners holds 61% of the new joint venture while PepsiCo has an ownership interest of 39%.

PepsiCo is one of the world’s leading food groups with a brand portfolio that includes Frito-Lay, Gatorade and Pepsi-Cola. The company generated more than USD 70bn in net revenue in 2020.
