The financial advisory house NORTH has acquired the insurance intermediary Mondo Forsikring Formidler (“Mondo Forsikring”).
Mondo Forsikring is a regional insurance agency for businesses in primarily Jutland. The business offers a unique all-risk product by way of customised insurance packages and individual consultancy agreements for craft industries, contractors and sewerage builders, within retail and with special property and building insurances.
Mondo Forsikring was formed in 2016 and has seven employees at the office in Aabybro. In connection with the acquisition, Mondo Forsikring’s total insurance portfolio reaches approx. DKK 70 million added to NORTH’s business of approx. DKK 240 million.
NORTH is Denmark’s leading impartial financial advisory house within business insurance, company pension, financial products and mortgage credit. NORTH is owned by the private equity fund Polaris and was formed in 2021 based on the merger of four advisory businesses. Subsequently, NORTH has acquired several businesses.
With the acquisition of Mondo Forsikring, NORTH extends its market-leading position and reinforces the total range of products offered to customers.
