Nordic Climate Group, a portfolio company of Altor Equity Partners, is expanding its activities in Denmark through the acquisition of SA-AL Køleteknik ApS (“SA-AL”).
The Danish cooling technology business SA-AL was founded in 1994 and offers installation, maintenance and repair of cooling systems. Today, SA-AL is Denmark’s leading cooling technology provider to food stores. The business has 55 employees at locations in Aarhus, Aalborg and Kolding and shows revenue of DKK 120 million.
Nordic Climate Group is the leading provider of cooling, heating and energy-efficient installations in the Nordic region. The business operates in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and, following the acquisition of SA-AL, now also in Denmark. The business focuses on helping its customers minimise their carbon footprint while maximising the energy efficiency of their cooling, heating and energy efficiency solutions. Nordic Climate Group, which was formed in 2021, shows revenue of SEK 3.2 billion and has 1,100 employees working from 70 local businesses in the Nordic region.
