The Danish fintech company Monthio has raised DKK 75m in an investment round led by Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) with participation from the Swedish investment company Harmar.
Monthio has developed a software solution for the financial sector which automates the data collection in connection with credit ratings. Monthios’s SaaS solution is already being used by the majority of the major Nordic banks, including Danske Bank, Nordea and Klarna, but also car leasing companies and mortgage credit institutions.
Monthio was formed in 2018 by Mads Aarup Pedersen. Today, Monthio has more than 70 employees.
With the new investment, Monthio is planning to expand further and move closer to becoming the European leader in the field.
