UNIwise was founded in 2012 by Rasmus Blok and Steffen Skovfoged. The business has 60 employees across offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway and Great Britain.

Monterro invests in and develops nordic B2B software businesses, with a mission to make the businesses market leaders within their niches. Monterro has offices in Stockholm, Oslo and Munich and has raised more than EUR 1.3 billion since 2012.
