Lowell acquires Intrum’s Nordic activities for DKK 5.4bn

Accura has advised the European credit management company Lowell (as well as Permira and Ontario Teacher Pension Plan) with the acquisition of Intrum’s Nordic activities.

Intrum was formed in connection with the merger between Lindorff and Intrum Justitia in 2016 and now Lowell acquires all Lindorff’s activities in Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden as well as Intrum Justitia’s activities in Norway.

The purchase price has been disclosed at approx. DKK 5.4bn.

Lowell has not previously been represented on the Nordic market. With the acquisition, Lowell strengthens its position as one of the largest credit management companies in Europe and becomes a market leader in the Nordic countries.
